About the blog Paddyboo

Welcome to the Paddyboo blog – a place where I put down some of my thoughts and feelings. The main purpose of my blog is to express myself and inspire others. I write about things like lessons I have learned in life. Although I'm really no one special, I think the world needs just a little more of something bright and people need some hands on advice about how to live happier lives. This is not advice that is in any way meant to replace any professional advice you may be getting from a psychologist; just little thoughts about things to make you think about your perception and help you to establish a true happiness that comes from within, one that isn't solely dictated by what's going on in the world around you.

About the author Anne Camleo

Hi, I'm *Anne! I'm a twenty-something year old living in South Africa. I love music and I've written some songs that I hope I'll be able to share with you some day. In the mean time, I want to share this blog with you, because I believe we should do our best to take control of our happiness even if our circumstances aren't so great. I believe we should turn our lives around by deciding to be happy about all the little things. Being happy does not take away our problems in life, but neither does worry and I think we tend to forget that. I add picture quotes to my posts because I believe in learning from other people, and taking to heart the things other people have said.

I do apologize for the unpolished way my blog is currently being presented. Paddyboo is still in its early days, so I'm planning on changing quite a few things in the not-too-distant future. I'm actually more of a perfectionist, so if I waited until everything satisfied my taste I would probably never have started this blog to begin with!

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope that you'll enjoy my content as much as I enjoy creating it!

*Anne Camleo is actually a pseudonym. I use it mainly because I'm from South Africa and most people probably wouldn't be able to pronounce my real name the way it should be pronounced. Also, it sounds rather nice as far as I'm concerned. I do like my actual name, but I think pseudonyms can be far more memorable sometimes.
